The list of powers available to the site is found here. Look below for the definition of each element. These are very important for your biography. Don't forget to upgrade! Feel free to spend those points on bumping up your powers. All higher levels include the abilities of the levels below, as only the new abilities added on are listed for each level.
COMMON
there are no requirements for common power selection, but please keep an eye on the banned and encouraged lists.
electricity, have the ability to electrocute others, and can start fires by electrocuting flammable objects. their power is more suited to deep control. beginner users can make themselves somewhat electric, and shock others if they are touched. amateur users can give almost harmless shocks of energy, as well as focus more. advanced users are more powerful and can start fires, and injure others. master users can do as they like.
ice, have the ability to manipulate ice. they are similar to water, however their body temperature is very cold. they also cannot do much with water itself, other than freeze it. ice is an element all on its own. beginner users can freeze small areas, and maintain a cold temperature. amateur users can throw ice objects, and have frost within their fur. advanced users can freeze others, and use it offensively. master users do as they like.
light, have the ability to create and manipulate light. beginner users can cause their fur to faintly glow in a variety of colors. amateur users have a stronger glow and can create a small orb of light. advanced users can create multiple orbs, and can then fuse them together to create a single shape. they can also flash their fur bright enough to temporarily blind an opponent. master users can do anything, short of affecting the sun of course.
poison, have poison in their blood - not literally of course! however, they can be rather dangerous to run into in a dark alleyway. beginner users can poison others via bite or can spray poison, however they only have a small supply of poison. this limits them to being unable to kill another, however they can endanger and harm the outside appearance of another. amateur users have a larger supply of poison, and they require less of it for the bite to be fatal as the poison is stronger. they can affect three times as many victims as beginners can. advanced users can poison others through touch, though it won't be fatal, however can choose not to poison by touch. master users can heal those poisoned.
pheromones, can alter their own pheromones to make another's emotions change, especially in regards to the pheromone user. beginner users can slightly increase or decrease an emotion the target is currently feeling, but only while touching the target. amateur users can do the same, but they are not limited to touch and can therefore affect more than one individual. if they are touching the target, the effect is greatly intensified. advanced users do not need to touch to alter intensity of an emotion by a large amount, and while they are touching an individual they can even change an emotion the target is feeling. master users do not need to touch their target(s) to change their emotions. initially powerful.
UNCOMMON
you must have thirty posts to unlock uncommon power selection.
psychic, have the ability to link with others minds and move objects using solely their own mental powers. beginner users are slight empaths, meaning they have the slight ability to pick up on another's emotions and feel them as well. Amateur users are full empaths and have slight telekinesis. advanced users have full telekinesis and can read the minds of others, provided they are not psychics as well. masters can even read minds of other psychics.
shadows, have the ability to create and control shadows. beginner users can create small shadows to confuse another. amateur users can literally melt into the shadows, becoming one with them and therefore untouchable. this takes quite a bit of energy, though, and if they hold it too long than they separate from the shadow and pass out from exhaustion. advanced users can cause shadows to form into physical barriers. master users can go so far as to control another's shadow, and through that, control the other's movements. however, they cannot make them do something they wouldn't normally do, sort of like hypnotic suggestion.
healing, have the ability to heal others and themselves. this power can even affect the ageing process, and those who have it rarely get sick. beginner users simply heal from wounds faster. amateur users heal even faster and can heal non-fatal wounds on others. advanced users can self-heal and can cure disease. master users age at half the rate of normal canines and can heal fatal wounds, provided they get to the wounded before the wound actually kills the one inflicted with it.
invisibility, can turn invisible. stronger users can even go through objects, or let objects go through them. beginner users can turn invisible, but they are still physically there and can cause pawprints in the mud or be injured, just the same as if they were there. they can only stay invisible for a few minutes. amateur users can stay invisible for a few hours and can include small objects. advanced users can be physically not there and can therefore go through objects or let other objects go through them. they can also, with some concentration, include other canines, though only for a few minutes. master users can do anything with their ability for any length of time.
weather, can affect the weather over quite a far-reaching area by either making it worse or better. beginner users can cause or prevent light showers, or change the weather from sunny to cloudy and vice versa. amateur users can cause or prevent major rainstorms, though other weather effects such as hail, thunder or lightning are out of their control. advanced users can cause or prevent large storms, including thunder, lightning and hail. master users can cause or prevent massive storms, such as tornadoes or hurricanes, and can direct lightning.
RARE
you must have sixty posts to unlock rare power selection.
levitation, have the ability to fly without wings though you need to buy wings if you want them. beginner users cannot carry themselves for great distances, and are rather weak. amateur users can carry themselves greater distances and are more powerful. advanced users can carry themselves in higher altitudes and use their power offensively by levitating objects that are smaller than they are. master users have no limitations.
teleportation, have the ability to transport their bodies in other areas, though it takes a great deal of concentration and can leave the user vulnerable. beginner users can teleport themselves within a twenty-foot radius and become exhausted quickly. amateur users can teleport themselves farther, within a hundred-foot radius. they can also begin practising teleporting small objects. advanced users can teleport themselves ever farther, within a two-hundred fifty-foot radius. they can even transport larger animals, like rabbits. master users can transport themselves and other canines anywhere.
necromancy, have the ability to raise the dead, as well as speak with them. initially these canids tend to be very creepy, sullen and ghostly like. beginner users can see wisps of old, forgotten spirits. they can hear only snippets of what they say. amateur users can see more clearly, and hear far better. advanced users can see them fully, and hear them, as well as speak with them. they can begin to raise their bodies and use them against others. master users can do as they like.
energy, have the ability to control molecules and can therefore create energy. beginner users can warm up the air by moving the particles faster. amateur uses can take this one step farther, speeding up the molecules enough to create a small, uncontrolled explosion. advanced users can focus this energy to create am energy beam or larger explosions. master users can even take an object and change it, like turning an apple into a pear - permanently. however, they cannot change a living thing, such as a plant or another canine.
supplemental, do not have powers of their own, really, but they can choose to affect the powers of others. all effects are temporary for any level of user. beginner users can slightly increase or decrease power of another while they are within five feet of that individual. amateur users need only have the individual in sight to do this, though if they are in the five foot range they can affect another's power by up to one whole level (e.g. can cause a beginner to have the powers of an amateur). advanced users can affect a power by one whole level while the affected individual is within sight, no matter how far. master users can negate powers and render them useless while the individual is in sight, and can affect more than one individual.
